"Mostly good," he admitted. "Except Adam. That's bad." Adam provided a much needed dose of sanity for Ronan. Without his boyfriend by his side, or at the very least a phone call away, Ronan was lost. He felt like he was a piece of driftwood caught up in the tide.
It wasn't a good feeling. But there wasn't much he could do about it since Adam was decidedly M.I.A. Maybe it wasn't by choice, maybe Adam had no control over it, Ronan surely didn't. But it still felt...personal.
He sighed. "But it's fine. I'm finally well and truly on my own." Which was something Ronan thought he wanted, but didn't really.
