Morales eyed Wade for a moment. "Could say a lot of things, I think," he said dryly. The other man wasn't the weirdest person he'd ever met -- not yet, anyway, though it was pretty close. "What's with the Hawaiian shirt?"
Notice that his question wasn't about the paintbrushes, hat, or drop-cloth. No, it was about the Hawaiian shirt that clashed with approximately everything and yet somehow didn't look entirely hideous. No, Morales wasn't a walking stereotype but any means, but damn. That shirt could be noticed by blind people.
