Who: Gally and Thomas What: So much WTFing When: Tuesday, early evening Where: Hinkle's Warnings: TBA Status: Closed/On-going
Gally was still convinced that Wade was certifiably insane, and he was also still convinced that school was evil. But homework pretty much solved all his problems -- he could hide somewhere after school and get most of his stuff done before going home. If he did that, it was usually at least eight by the time he got back to the apartment and less time he had to deal with Wade, the better. It hadn't been so bad during that bizarre week where they'd both thought they were other people -- or in Wade's case, a weird little yellow fuzz thing.-- but in general? Wade was terrible and terrifying.
Today he'd settled into a booth at Hinkle's, eating while studying for a test. He wasn't particularly thrilled, especially since it was for a class he'd had absolutely no understanding of at the start -- not that he understood any of them, but some of his classes had come easier to him than others. But he was stubborn, if nothing else, and he'd be damned if he completely failed at this. Not that he cared if he did well. He really just wanted to pass.
He was in the middle of a chapter in his history text when he had the feeling that someone was watching him; he tensed as he looked up, that fight-or-flight instinct kicking in. It was something that he'd probably never rid himself of. He did relax a little, though, when he saw that it was only Thomas looking around. At least Thomas was someone he got along with. Not a friend, exactly, but after everything they'd gone through? Friendly enough, after a fashion.
