Shosanna was very pleased that Sam was back in town. And with all his memories at that. She had missed Sam, she had grown fond of him while he'd been here the last time.
She'd invited him over that evening, and had ordered some take out in case he was hungry. She also had whiskey and beer in case he wanted.
She beamed when the doorbell rang, and went to answer it. She automatically gave him a big hug when she saw him on the other side of the door, and kissed his cheek quickly.
"Sam..."
"Miss me?" he asked, returning the hug and the kiss on the cheek. He knew the answer, it was obvious. And it made him feel a little warm and tingly. Definitely a good feeling. He stepped back after a moment and looked her over. "You look good." She did. And being back here at her door step he could almost believe he'd never been gone at all. "And something smells good," he said as he stepped inside.
"Oh no, not in the slightest," she said, smiling slightly. And then, on impulse, she placed a quick kiss on his lips. "I ordered some food in case you were hungry. I think I remembered what you liked." She blushed slightly at his compliment. "You're looking good yourself, you know." Of course, she'd likely always think he looked good.
"How have you been?" she asked.
"I'm good," Sam told her. He could explain the hell he'd been through at home, searching for Lucifer, going to the post apocalyptic world where Bobby was alive but different. Where Crowley died and...
Yeah, he'd skip all that. Saying he was good was good enough. He didn't need to rehash all the things that happened outside of Madison since he'd been here last. "Kinda happy to be back here. Sad too. My brother Dean is gone. Other people I cared about. But a few are still here, so it's not all bad."
"I heard about Dean leaving," she admitted. "A lot of people seemed to go home all at once, and I had heard that Dean was one of those people. I am sorry, Sammy." And she was being completely honest. She understood how close Sam and Dean were, and the fact that Dean was gone was probably hard on Sam.
"There are still some of your friends here, though, right?" she asked. "Besides me, of course." Because she did consider herself to be Sam's friend. At least, she considered him to be her friend. "Come, I have some whiskey. Or beer, whichever you want."
"Only friends get to call me Sammy," he said as a means to answer the questions. Of course she was his friend. He cherished her friendship, even if it didn't exist for him back home.
"Beer's good," he told her. He wasn't much of a whiskey drinker. Not that he didn't drink it, but drinking was more Dean's thing than his. "Quite a few of my friends are still here. A handful are gone, besides Dean. But I was gone nine months, it's to be expected."
"Well then, I must be a friend since you allow me to call you Sammy," she said with a smile. When Sam told her he preferred beer over whiskey, she nodded and headed toward the kitchen to grab a bottle out of the fridge. She decided she was in the mood for beer as well, so she got herself one as well.
She handed Sam one of the bottles, and leaned against the counter. "Nine months is a long time to be gone," she said, softly. "I was convinced that you were never coming back." That wouldn't have been too surprising, really. Madison Valley could be quite mean like that. "But I am glad you're here, Sammy. You're a good friend."
"I'm glad I'm here too," Sam said. He had no idea what the future held back home. With Lucifer's child unleashed in the world, he wasn't sure he wanted to know. And everything else...well, he didn't want to think about it.
The only point in favor of being at home was Dean. He didn't count Cas because Cas was also in Madison. Adam, and Katie, were only in Madison. Shosanna and several other friends were only in Madison. Madison was definitely preferable to home, now that he was back.
Shosanna set her bottle of beer on the counter, and moved toward Sam. She had missed him during his time back home. Talking to him, hugging him.... kissing him. While they hadn't been in a relationship during the time they had known each other, she definitely wanted to be.
And now he was back. She'd thought she'd lost him forever. So the fact that she found herself wrapping an arm around his shoulders and giving him a deep kiss came as no surprise to her.
"Sorry," she murmured. "I just missed being able to do that."
Sam leaned into the kiss, his hand going to the nape of Shosanna's neck. "Mmmmm.," he purred softly. "No complaints here."
There were none. He'd be a fool to complain. Shosanna was a good kisser. He liked kissing her. He liked the thought of more with her.
Shosanna would definitely not complain about more kisses with Sam. She found him to be an excellent kisser, and it would be silly to complain about it whatsoever. So when Sam stated there were no complaints about the kiss, she decided to kiss him again.
She allowed her hand to trail over his torso as she kissed him. She had missed being able to touch him as well. And being able to touch and kiss him cemented the fact that he was really back, that she wasn't imagining it.
"I forgot how good you are at that..."
"You're good at it too," he said. She was. He felt they were well matched. Not that he was thinking of settling down in a relationship any time soon. That wasn't on his agenda at all. It hadn't been with Jo, or Sara, either. He supposed he'd just see how things went the longer he was back, and the more time they spent toether.
Shosanna offered Sam a small smile at his words. "I'm glad you think that," she told him. "I would hate it if you thought I wasn't good at it at all." She wrapped her arms around his waist, and leaned lightly against him for a moment. She wasn't particularly looking for a relationship, either, but if it happened with Sam? She wouldn't complain at all.
"Would you like some welcome back to Madison Valley dessert?" she asked.
He wasn't sure if she meant actual dessert, or the kind that was consumed in the bedroom, but he wasn't going to refuse either. He cracked a coy smile and nodded. "I think I would like some welcome back dessert," he told her, his eyes dancing.
Shosanna smirked slightly at Sam's words, and leaned up to kiss him softly. She took his hand within hers, and started toward the bedroom. Because that was the kind of dessert she was referring to. She had a feeling that Sam knew that as well, or at least knew that was an option.
