"I have been trying," he told Grimm. "I just... cooking was never something that anyone thought to teach me when I was growing up. It was never expected that I would need to know how, that I would have to cook for myself. Let alone any of my children." He shrugged a bit at this, and glanced at Elizabeth as she dug through the basket of stickers.
He considered Grimm's suggestion for a moment. "I think I would like some lessons in cooking, so I might go to this food group. Even if just for Elizabeth, she deserves home cooked meals. She's growing, and everything."
He offered Grimm a small smile, "I am just not accustomed to modern medicine or anything. I come from the sixteenth century, so this entire experience is a little overwhelming."
