For once the weather was fairly warm and not drizzly, and for once, Sonya decided to take a detour to the park once she picked Cassie up from pre-school. Now that spring had finally arrived, the ducks and geese also made an appearance.
And even Sonya was are how much little kids loved chasing birds. She recalled the same at her age; with the weather this calm, she and Cassie could afford to take a detour to the park before heading home.
"Cassie, not too far." She did sigh when the four-year old ran ahead of her.
The little girl did stop at the older man feeding the ducks, watching in fascination and hoping she might be allowed to join in. "Can I help, please?"
"Cassie, don't interrupt the man." Her daughter said please, atleast, but by all accounts he just looked like someone who wanted to be by himself.
