Who: Dorian Pavus + Remy LeBeau
What: Run in at the bookstore (Match up)
When: Friday afternoon
Where: That Book Place
Warnings: None
Status: Closed/Ongoing

Dorian had gotten a rather worried, but cohesive explanation of the last week from Chloe, after waking up to find the young lady on his couch. He'd made tea and a light breakfast while listening to her talk about what had happened at Murphy's house, the change in poor Derek, and how she had come to be on his couch. And then he'd barely managed to mask his horror when she had explained the difference in him, how he had been when she ran for comfort.

He had never wanted to envision himself as a blood mage, but apparently somewhere, that was exactly what he was. It wasn't that it was unthinkable, it was just... upsetting. After fighting and losing so much to stay who he was, it actually hurt to think that some version of himself gave in.

He could only hope Felix was saved in the process.

After getting Chloe back to her beau, he'd headed out for work, which was thankfully still standing, and after his shift was over, he headed for the bookstore. They didn't have the best tea in town, but it was drinkable, and he could find a few new books to hold him over while he hid from the past week.

Dorian was working his way down an aisle, picking books from a list he had on his phone, marking which ones needed to be ordered for him.

"Excuse me, sir, could you pass over that Voodoo Handbook there on the third shelf, the New Orleans one." He could have waited until the man moved, but Dorian wasn't in a mood to wait tonight.
