Who: Raven Reyes and John Murphy What: Hanging with the kids Where: Their house When: Friday Evening Warning: Probably low Status: Closed/Ongoing
Raven was happy to be back in Madison Valley. She seemed to have eased back into her life here. She and Murphy were good. It was as if they had never been separated. She was back to work at the lab, and she had her friends here. It was all good.
Not everything was smooth. Though she loved her son more than anything, there had been a little disconnection. She had missed almost the entirety of his first year of life. For reasons she could not explain, she felt immense guilt because of it. He was also a little fussy with her, almost like he didn't know her. It was frustrating. Fortunately, it did not take too long for them to reconnect. Alex was a baby, after all. Once he understood she was another caregiver, someone to feed him, he was content. They still needed time to connect fully, but they were getting there.
Thankfully, Aurelia remembered Raven. At least she didn't have to worry about the little girl rejecting her. Right now, Aurelia was drawing with crayons as Raven sat on the couch watching her. Alex was sitting in a baby swing. Things were calm for the moment as they waited for Murphy to get home from work.
