Wednesday was having a bit of issues recently. With Sweeney being around, and with the memories brought on by the leprechaun's appearance in Madison Valley. He had a feeling Shadow was going through a lot as well, and he wanted to check on the man. He knew he should have stopped by sooner, but... being dependable was not something he was particularly good at doing.

But he decided it was better late than never, so Wednesday appeared at Shadow's place that Friday evening, a bottle of whiskey in one hand and a bag of burgers and fries from Hinkles in the other. Food and alcohol were the cure-alls for everything, at least according to Wednesday.

He just hoped Shadow would let him in. Not that he thought the man wouldn't, but there was always the chance. And he wouldn't blame him if Shadow turned him away.

He could hope, though.

Shadow was dealing with a lot. He'd given Sweeney a room in his small house. That was which to drive him mad. So when Wednesday showed up food in hand and booze he held the door wide open.

"Oh thank the gods." He groaned and looked around, "Sweeney isn't with you is he?" The big Maine coon jumped up on the table by the door and trilled at Wednesday.

"Oh, yes," he said, smiling slightly. "Sweeney and I are close, close friends. Joined at the hip and all that." He stepped inside, and set the bottle of booze down before scratching behind the cat's ear.

He held up the bag of burgers and fries, "I hope you're hungry and that you haven't gained an aversion to bacon cheeseburgers since I have seen you last." He thought he would have learned that already had that been the case.

"Sweeney is living with you, I hear."
