Being that she still retained that shiny, new person status, Hope was not surprised when someone noticed her watching the many faces that made up Madison Valley. Admittedly, she'd felt the other woman's presence approaching and had made a subtle attempt to move out of the way to avoid any collision (werewolf senses and all), but thankfully, there had been no need as the woman seemed to have corrected herself anyway.
Overwhelming was an understatement about the entire experience the encompassed what Hope knew of Madison Valley so far, but it was still a fair assessment of how the young woman felt all the same. "Observing would be a better word choice. Watching makes it sound like I'm stalking them," Hope replied bluntly. It was a natural instinct for a wolf to want to be part of a Pack; Hope was merely assessing if this Pack was worth being a part of.
