Could she do it forever though? Give up fighting? Essentially being a huntress? Ruby had not considered it since her arrival in Madison Valley. Maybe because she didn't want to think about it. It had been her dream since losing her mother, her calling in a sense, and now that she was stuck in Madison Valley, she was finding she needed something else. What that something was, Ruby didn't know, but maybe she would take the time to find out.
"I kind of have no choice now in the matter," Ruby replied honestly. "Normal life is kind of all I have now." And it wasn't a bad thing...just something Ruby was coming to terms with still. "And it was no problem at all. I hope your guardian is good." Ruby was pretty sure this place did have somewhere to buy a smoothie. "But hot chocolate or a smoothie would be cool sometime." Ruby gave a smile to Emma once more before turning to leave.
