Her mouth dropped a little in surprise at his comment and then a look of indignation, though not overly so, crossed her features. "I did not. I didn't even know at the time there was a blanket." It had definitely been an embarrassing moment for her, one she might not admit to in front of just anyone. "Besides, I remember now how to keep from getting drunk, so I'll be much more considerate next time." That she was even considering there being a next time was a bit of a miracle in and of itself. The image of herself in his bed again brought on her own small blush and she looked down at her fish, suddenly, conveniently, remembering she had food to eat.
She busied herself with eating some of it. The food in her mouth helped her from talking too much, though eventually she spoke again. "Thank you" She pushed around some rice with her fork, watching the grains move. "I know I'm not the easiest to put up with sometimes." She had been told so quiet literally several times. The Doctor looked back up to him, her eyes softening. "But it's hard not to want to be around you."
