Lorna found herself having a harder time adjusting to Madison than when she had first showed up in this damn place. Back then she didn’t feel like everything was blowing up in front of her face. Now? It felt like everything back home was crumbling around her and it was her fault for most of it. Only she couldn’t fix her mistakes or make sure the people she cared about were safe because once again she was trapped under a dome with no idea what was coming once she returned so time could keep moving. Marcos was here, taking a small load off her mind cause here he was safe even if he wasn’t back home. Andy was the one she kept worrying about with everything going on with him. Though all the worrying in her head wasn’t going to do much for her since it wasn’t like she was back in her own world.
She was glad for a minor distraction from her thoughts with plans to talk to Erik. While it wasn’t the best distraction considering she was moving into more painful issues that came from her trip back home. Lorna knew this wasn’t her Erik or at least hadn’t lived through the stuff the Erik from her world had, but she still felt he had a right to know what she learned about him back home. Even more so with all the shit she had given him with her anger she had towards him. She was pretty sure she’d always have that anger; however, she had gained some different insight between having Dawn and talking to her Aunt. It was that different insight that had led her to come to talk with him at his house.
Lorna had left Dawn with Marcos, not wanting to be away from her daughter, but she knew if Dawn was with her, then she’d use her daughter to avoid talking about what was on her mind. Feelings outside of anger was not exactly her strong suite. No one could deny she wasn’t trying though. Taking a deep breath, she walked up to the front door and knocked on it before rocking back onto the heels of her boots.
