"Oh. Well. I've been to Europe. That's..." she crinkled her nose in thought, "on a place called Earth, right?" the Arthurians hadn't been terribly good at explaining that to her originally but she had grasped that concept pretty quickly. It was nothing like the Continent, but it was a frame of reference. "So where is this America in relation to Europe?" Ciri asked curiously, trying to lay out a map of the world in her head. She had only a small amount of knowledge of it but she would manage.
"Ah, that is good to know." so she skipped out of her timeline into another and hers stopped, more or less. She thought that was kind of nice, it meant she wouldn't be missed and wouldn't have Geralt or Yennefer looking across the Continent for her. Well, more than they had been already. She'd holed up to hide the Wild Hunt and left them worrying about her. She did feel bad about that but it was for their safety too. She didn't want to hurt them but sometimes it was necessary.
"Shower?" she blinked, "and what is a credit card? A cellphone or a laptop?" each word she didn't know was carefully sounded out. They were all foreign to her. She wasn't sure she liked this place already, "So the local government of this 'Madison' just gives people what I assume is money and a home?" she was skeptical and it showed on her face.
