WHO Marcos Diaz (+ Dawn) and Erik Lehsherr (+ Aurie) WHAT Meeting and a kids' play date WHEN Friday afternoon, 2pm WHERE Tea House WARNINGS Probably not but will update if needed STATUS Closed | Incomplete
To say that Marcos was nervous about meeting Lorna's father was an understatement. Despite the ill will between them, he knew Lorna wished she had a relationship with her father. He wanted Dawn to have that relationship with Erik, too. It wasn't like his family would be an option and Erik seemed a lot more chill here. Less destroy everything and everyone, which was a good thing. What mattered now was that they had a chance here that didn't exist in their world, and he could only hope that she would come to appreciate that even more once she returned to Madison Valley.
He bundled Dawn up against the cold and probably over packed the stroller with things, but he was still learning what was needed all the time with her. Lorna tended to take the lead for most everything when it came to Dawn. Now, he was starting to regret not making a bigger deal out of it, since it meant that he wasn't as prepared to look after their daughter for an extended period of time. Hopefully, that fact wouldn't be too obvious to Erik, lest he make a terrible impression.
Marcos entered the Tea House and found Erik with relative ease. Though the man was much younger than he'd expected, he did have a look about him that was easy to recognize. Plus, he had a small girl with him and Erik had said he'd bring his ward along as well so that Dawn could make a friend. "Hi," he greeted. "Nice to uh. Meet you." That wasn't lame at all. "How are you guys doing with all this cold?"
