Martha Jones + Nikita Mears
Nikita knew well enough when people were lying it was one of the few perks, if you could even call it that, from being trained by Division. Though even without the skill set, Nikita could see the woman wasn’t wrong on how it’d be hard for her to try to lie. Her words did bring a small frown to Nikita’s face for a moment cause she knew all too well on that whole memories issue. Even when younger and going down a bad path to forget certain memories, they were never fully gone just hiding in the back a bit.
“It’s hard to escape from memories, but sometimes that isn’t a horrible thing. Those memories usually come with you learning a lesson and shapes you into the person you are today no matter how much they suck.” Nikita gave her a small smile, pushing her dark hair behind her ear. “I’m sorry you’ve had to deal with that tonight,” she could only imagine how much it was playing on her mood for the evening, especially with how much alcohol she had. “I’ve had my fair share of horrible memories so once sober if you ever need to talk to someone or anything, then please feel free to hit me up.” Considering how she was always the shoulder for people around her back home, it was no real surprise to have her offering up right now to this woman for if she ever needed it.
