"I'm going to go with that's what's important here." The not feeling like they were celebrating any holidays was what really mattered, Amaar thought. It was impossible to completely avoid all things vaguely Christmasy this time of year, with where they lived and the majority of people celebrating it. But if that wasn't the intention of the party, more just a decoration choice, then it was fine as far as he was concerned.
Others might see it differently but that was the beautiful part of his faith. It was open to personal interpretation.
Maybe others were too. He wasn't an expert in anyone else's beliefs.
