Who: Chris Argent & OTA What: Caffeine is his friend, too When: Thursday afternoon Where: Starbucks Warnings: TBA Status: Open/On-going
There were days where caffeine was Chris's best friend in the entire world. He'd long ago learned to function without it, but even so. There was a vast difference between functioning without it and handling people without it. Handling people without it meant a lot more offended customers at work and he was usually the one with the people skills. They kind of liked keeping it that way. It was easier on everyone and safer for them, too.
Today was no exception, especially since he'd had the morning shift with Jill and he had the closing shift at work. Jill alone would leave someone feeling exhausted. He'd known the woman for years and she was still as hyperactive and rambling as ever, Lord love her.
He barely had to start telling the barista his order -- by this point, the majority of them knew it, and that fact always made him think of Mia. He laughed slightly, paid, and moved off to the side to wait. He checked his phone idly as he stood there, infinitely more patient than the guy standing next to him who was complaining about... something. Chris wasn't entirely sure what, he just knew that he had the vague urge to throw something at the guy.
