There were very few things about Madison Valley that Mia actually enjoyed, almost all of which could be counted on one hand including the people she actually enjoyed spending time with. There didn't seem to be any shortage of places to train, from the converted room in her's and Nyssa's home to Training Terrain and now Combat Therapy. Still, she preferred to be outside because that was how she'd learned as a kid. The park wasn't exactly the best place for it if she wanted to get to know the locals or even other people, but Mia's interest was more in seeing who stopped because they were curious about what she could do and how she might be able to help them keep their own skills sharp.
She had a weird way of looking for sparring partners.
Mia was dressed in her typical gear - jeans, combat boots, a white fitted tank and her black jacket - with her quiver and bow on her back. Her hair was down, as it usually was while she was actually out on the streets, and she had a katana in hand that she'd borrowed off Nyssa. Her goal was to readjust to fighting with the quiver on her back, to have multiple weapons at her disposal depending on the potential situation she might run into. In Madison Valley, it was best to be prepared for anything according to anyone who cared to talk with her about it. There weren't many of those people, and even fewer that didn't give her dirty looks as she ran through some combinations.
Someone new approached her though. She caught sight of him as soon as he entered into her field of vision, though she made no indication she cared because she wanted to see what he'd do. Would he walk right past her without batting an eye? Stop? Would he berate her like a few others had or would he be curious? Mia never did anything the conventional way.
