Qrow had wanted to ask Elsa to move in for awhile now. Unfortunately, he just never had the chance to ask her. Not only did the dome make things difficult (as it always did) and he had to deal with the aftermaths of whatever happened, but Ruby had also arrived before he could ask. Since he cared about his niece, he didn't want to just invite someone she barely knew to live with them, so he stalled for a bit longer.
Luckily, Ruby seemed to like Elsa and she more or less gave her blessing. That definitely was a relief for Qrow because he really did wanted them to get along and so far, they seem to be quite friendly with each other. Weiss had also said it was a good idea when he'd told her and to just go for it. Qrow usually did but not this time. This time, he was a lot more nervous.
He didn't show it, though, but it seemed as if his Semblance was worse as dinner went on. So far, he'd tripped over his own foot, bumped into a chair, and now his glass of water had spilled on poor Elsa. "I'm so sorry. I don't know what's going on with my Semblance tonight," he sighed as he got up to grab a napkin, handing it to her so she could dry herself off a little.
Okay, maybe he knew exactly what was happening but he didn't want to admit it.
