WHO: Usagi Tsukino & Setsuna Meioh. WHAT: Silly Usa locked herself out the house. WHEN: Tuesday. WHERE: Their place. WARNINGS: None. STATUS: Closed/Incomplete gdoc; continuing in comments.
Usagi loved video games. She could play them every day and sometimes, she did. She'd stay up a bit later than she should on school nights playing them. She certainly regretted it in the morning when she overslept and was late for school, but that didn't stop her from doing the same thing every night.
Because she played so many games, she had gone out to get a couple more new ones. It probably wasn't the best idea, but it was her money. She could spend it how she wanted, even if it wasn't a good idea. Once she got her games and a hot chocolate to drink, she headed home. Only to realize she'd forgotten her key. Unfortunately for her, Setsuna also seemed to have gone out as well, probably for errands or something. Since she had no idea how long her guardian would be, Usagi had no choice but to wait.
So that's what she did, sitting and waiting on the step and locked out of the house.
It wasn't long before Setsuna was headed home. She was surprised to see Usagi waiting, she paused then smiled. "Forget your key?" She asked with a shake of her head. She opened the for them both.
She had been working hard lately, happy to be teaching and helping at the tea shop. It was a nice life even if she really missed fighting bad guys a lot.
One good thing about all of this was that Usagi had a nearly fully charged smartphone with her. So at least she could play games, text people, watch videos, and such while she waited. It would've been really boring if she didn't have that.
She was watching silly cat videos when she heard Setsuna approach. There was a pause before she just nodded slowly. "Yes," she said sheepishly, putting her phone away as she followed her friend inside. "So where'd you go? Were you visiting your dream guy?" she teased, a little more cheerful now.
“I did not. I went to the store.” she said as she held up a small bag then smiled. “I hope you weren’t out here too long?” she asked kindly as she let her inside and headed to set the bag down in the kitchen. She was smiling though because she knew Usagi was fine.
She hoped the girl would figure out how to be more responsible someday, it was not a bad thing to know and she didn’t want her to fall apart if something happened to her. She worried, it was her job.
"Aw, that's too bad," Usagi said with a tiny frown as she followed Setsuna into the kitchen. She couldn't say she was surprised, though. She knew Setsuna and Dream didn't always see each other. Unlike Usagi, who probably couldn't stay away from her boyfriend (if she had one), Setsuna always seemed more independent when it came to that sort of thing.
"Not too long. Maybe like fifteen minutes," she guessed with a shrug. Which wasn't too long but it kind of seemed like it. "So whatcha get from the store?" she asked curiously.
