The old black and white B-movies are his utter most joy he has a huge collection of them. He likes finding bargains and hidden gems and kitsch items, he’s a real collector. He loves oddities and quirky things as well. He’s started to get to the point where he’s able to shout too, his meekness starting to abandon him now he‘s in the big wide world. When before he’d just let people trample completely over him. Now at least he puts up a little bit of a fight about being walked on. But he has a very strong moral core to his centre and is a passionate activist and philanthropist.

Supernatural Affinity: Species/Group: Human
History: Boon’s story starts far before his birth. His Father had been a star athlete and he was heading straight to the top and relished the lifestyle fame brought him. However the fame got to his head and he drank slept around and took drugs and totally ruined his career by alienating those who got him where he was and taking credit for all their hard work to put him where he was. One bender had him out on the road swerving madly. He crashed the car as so many do and his hip bone shot up in to his pelvis shattering it. Painful and long treatment later and he was able to walk. But he would never get to the same physical peek he had been at. His career was over and he had to get a job working for the first company that gave him one. Now he works for a company that manufactures plastic bottles. It’s a very unfulfilling life but at least it pays well now he‘s an Audit inspector.
Then he had his son. His perfect, blue eyed, blond baby boy. He decided there and then that Boon would be a star athlete. He’d make him in to a pro. Boon would do him proud. There was just one major problem. Even from a young age, Boon didn’t really care for sports. He didn’t mind kicking a ball around with his friends or even playing some games but as soon as his Father got involved he hated it. His childhood was a blur of school sports teams. After school clubs. Sport camp and any and every sports teams that his Father could get him in to forcing him to go to them by bundling the screaming child in to the car. The resentment grew as each worked out they hated one another. But Boon’s Father was determined to make his son a star. That was when the bullying began towards him and Boon’s younger brother Ben. Ben was to be a pro athlete too! His Mother was unfortunately oblivious to what was going on with them. Each didn’t want her to see her get upset!
But the bullying and constant pushing of his Father led Boon to start taking comfort in his food. So much so he began to get very overweight. Of course this not only led to his Father’s words becoming much more vicious. Old friends turned and began to bully him more and more as the pressure of school hit them. His little brother seemed to be the only one who stood up for him because Boon stood up for
Ben when his Father would shout at him. He forced himself to take the brunt of his Father’s torments. The two grew really close but Boon’s tormentors got to him. He started to not eat. He then lost the weight and became dangerously underweight. He exercised religiously and obsessively and became bulimic with hints of anorexia with it. He fainted one day while crossing the road and was taken to see a nutritionist. He didn’t need to be told what the route of his problem was. He knew exactly what it was! But he just couldn’t seem to get his eating disorder sorted. However he started doing gentle exercise and ate what he could to get his weight up. Now he’s a healthy weight with some muscle tonnage to him. But he needs his friends and family around him to remind him to eat and check he’s eating appropriately.
He’s sticking with Mysteria until his brother who sometimes ‘runs away’ to Boon’s apartment. So Boon wants to be close by. Also if his Mother ever realises his Dad’s a jerk (though he’s not violent) and wants to come to him.
Flaws: Boon has an eating disorder that will most likely be with him all his life. It’s a psychological problem now. He can just forget to eat at times then will make up for it by binging until he’s sick. He loves food at times and at others he feels sick just thinking about eating. He needs help to make him regulate his eating.
He is clumsy. Incredibly clumsy. He always has been. He doesn’t seem to realize just where his limbs are at times. He’s usually got a few bumps here and there and odd bruises.
Boon isn’t a fighter. He’s a bit of a coward really. If there’s something dangerous going on he likes to find a hidden corner and wait for someone else to deal with it!
Merits: He’s sure he has some!
Being a good guy? Could that be a merit? Because he is! He’s nice. Just your average guy.
