Todd Willing Character Information Name: Todd Willing Nickname: Usually just Todd Age: 17 at death, but it's been a year now and he likes to think he's 18. Birthplace: Town a little way down the road from Mysteria Sex: Male Occupation: Being dead and annoying. Appearance: Even when he's visible, he is still slightly faded and a little bit see-through. He has short, orange hair and bright blue eyes. Todd has a smattering of freckles that always annoyed him in life, and he still can't get rid of them now. He's of average height and a slightly athletic build as he used to be a basketball player. Because of his current state he is stuck in the clothes he was wearing when he died; faded blue jeans and a button-down red shirt teamed with dark trainers. He figures that if he had to die, at least he died wearing something vaguely fashionable. Todd also has a small silver hoop in the top of his right ear. Personality: Todd is a little bit melancholy when first approached. This is probably because he's dead, so he feels he's allowed to feel a bit of self-pity. Once he'd gotton over the shock of being spoken to and that people can see or hear him, he has a tendancy to talk and talk without any pause. He loves company and being around people, and can be found in either the library trying to get some attention by flipping books around and opening the windows, or in the canteen trying to start food fights. He was a bit of a class-clown when alive and this certainly shows through in his mischevious behaviour now. Todd is horribly lonely though, and desperately wants to try and make a friend somehow. He maintains an online journal, as he'd found it easy to manipulate electronics and hopes to make friends that way. Special abilities/talents: Well, he used to be good at basketball, and he boasts that he used to make a fantastic cup of tea. Other then that, he knows he's a bit pointless. Supernatural Affinity: Species/Group: Ghost Power(s): - Can turn invisible, if the person can see him. - Can lift small objects every so often, though it drains him. - Can play with electronics like keyboards and computers. - Can phase through objects, or blink to where he needs to be if he's seen it before. Level: Weak ghost, if thats a level. Affiliation/Rank: N/A Preferred Prey: N/A History: Todd was born to a normal home, with an older sister, a pet dog and two parents who worked. They had a lovely home, both children attempted school properly and there seemed to be little to no problems with anything at all. Todd was on the basketball team at school and looked to be getting a scholarship to a good college one day. Yes, life was going sweet and fine as far as Todd was concerned. Then on his sixteenth birthday, his father treated him to a 'Mans Night Out' to the local Hooters bar to celebrate. Both got exceptionally drunk and staggered into the car, Todd curling up on the backseat and passing out almost instantly. His father attempted to drive home, but their car careened off the road and into the lake. Todd's father escaped, but Todd was both unconcious and trapped in the back seat and never stood a chance. He drowned at 11pm on the 29th of March 2007. The first thing he remembers when he comes back to the land of the living, as it were, is standing by his coffin at his own funeral. At first, Todd had no idea what to do, and just stayed at home with his dog, whiling away the hours. Eventually curiousity prompted him to get out of the house, and he visited his school to check on his friends. He took to travelling, visiting Egypt at one point. Getting trapped in a tomb with a lot of crazy tomb-guard ghosts is less then fun though, and so he escaped and came home. Drifting to and fro from school and home, he spends most of his time in the school library causing hassle and avoiding the mad Janitor ghost that wants to lock him in the boiler. Eventually he floated away from the school and found himself here, in Mysteria. He's thinking of settling down here, if only because there are clearly some people here he can talk to. He's not tried to make contact yet, but he's biding his time, and hoping that he can find just the right person. Occasionally people can catch glimpses of him in window reflections or mirrors, but for the most part he has found his afterlife a horribly lonely affair. Flaws: Being dead - Well, this one's a bit obvious really. He can't talk to a lot of people, and he tends to get a bit angry about it from time to time. Socially obtuse - The boy does not catch on well to subtle hints or sarcasm very well. He's the sort of boy who will wake up in the middle of the night with a "HEY! That was mean!" due to something someone said earlier. Not very strong - Sort of ties into being dead really. He's easily drained if asked to do long tasks or something similar, and he can't lift very heavy objects. Salt/Iron Allergy - Weakness of being a ghost. He can't touch the stuff. Merits: Great sense of humour - Well, he sees it as a merit. He likes to think he's optimistic enough to survive anything, provided it's not a car in a lake. Athletic - He used to be a great basketball player, and has found that the speed he had then has carried on after death. Great for running away from less friendly spirits. Somewhat unusual thinking - Have a serious problem that you can't work out the answer to? He thinks with a different kind of logic, far more easy going. Who knows, he could just figure it out. Sexual Orientation: Well, he didn't really live long enough to find out. He's dated girls before, but on the other hand he has found he gets a fluttery feeling in his tummy with some boys. So who knows? He certainly doesn't and seeing as he's dead he doesn't know if he'll ever find out. Preferred PB (played-by): Jamie Bell
