1) ART: Advertising poster a la 1920 Art Nouveau with phrases like “Snape's Laconic Tinctures: Try one, you won't be raving for days.” or “Snape's Todger Toffy: Smear it on. Rub it in. Enjoy the Sensation!” or “Reinforce Your Slytherin Tendencies With The Brew That Is True ~ The ale that makes Gryffindors pale, Hufflepuffs cringe, and Ravenclaws stupid!” Remus is the model for S. Snape, Apothecary Extraordinaire. Rating: PG13 to R.
2) STORY: AU; Darkish!fic (more Grey); Magical; Romance ~ Remus Lupin digs his way out of his grave days after being interred. Moony never quite leaves him, protecting him from the “two-legs” that buried them. He steals Teddy away from Andromeda and runs to Spinner’s End. There he and Moony’s (moon) magic combines to work without alerting the Ministry of Magic and he changes it to suit his family/pack. Unfortunately—or fortunately—Severus Snape is healing in the back garden, benefiting from Remus/Moony magic. Possible plot devices: snarky dreams, ghostly commentary, invisible friend, poltergeist. Rating: PG13 to NC17.
3) STORY: EWE; Mystery/Suspense; Mystical/Ghostly; Magical; Romance; Humor ~ Ten years to the day he disappeared a story about Severus Snape appears in "The Daily Prophet". Strange, inexplicable things begin happening at Hogwarts and No. 12 Grimmauld Place, to Harry Potter, even to Draco Malfoy...but only good comes to Remus Lupin and his son, Teddy. Intrigued, Remus investigates with Teddy's encouragement and help. Possible plot devices: mysterious notes, gossip, a dark wizard lurking about (not Lucius Malfoy). Rating: PG13 to R.
4 STORY: AU/AR; Mystery/Intrigue, Author’s Choice: Magical or non-Magical; Action/Adventure; Romance (set in mid-19th century London or modern UK). Remus Lupin is a thief turned private inquiry agent, and has a mysterious past. Severus Snape is a teacher—a real, compassionate, and still snarky teacher—who finds himself spiriting away four students thought destitute but who are really wealthy orphans (suggestions: Harry Potter, Blaise Zabini, Draco Malfoy, and Regulus Black) when he finds out they are to be sold to the highest bidder. Crime lords and adventures ensue. Severus Snape should have spectacles that steam-up when Remus kisses him. Plot device: Severus has a thoroughly modern view that clashes with the world he lives in, which in turn is very attractive to the nonconformist Lupin. Based on Amanda Quick’s “Lies by Moonlight”. Rating: R to NC17.
5 STORY or COMIC: Severus finds himself trapped in a Christmas bauble after someone hexes him and hung on either the No. 12 Grimmauld Christmas tree or one of the trees at Hogwarts. He finds out something interesting, perhaps profitable, and definitely intriguing. This could be the story of how he finds a truly happy memory to cast his Patronus, or what Severus keeps to himself as he undergoes trial or as he dies. Possible timeline(s): Marauders', First Voldemort War, Second Voldemort War, Post-Second Voldemort War. Rating: R to NC17
