Gingerbread Snupin! What could be better?? These were used as a gift icon for SnuSa back in the day... and they were just too cute.

Snickerdoodles
Ingredients
1 cup butter flavored shortening
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 cups All Purpose Flour
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 Tablespoon Sugar
2 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
2. Mix shortening, 1 1/2 cup of sugar, & eggs thoroughly
3. Measure flour, cream of tartar, salt, & baking soda and mix together
4. Stir flour mixture into sugar mixture
5. Shape into 1 inch balls.
6. Roll the balls in a mixture of 2TBsp sugar and 2tsp cinammon mixture, coating them evenly.
7. Place two inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet.
8. Bake 8-10 minutes.
The cookies will puff up at first, then flatten out into chewy deliciousness. This recipe makes 6 dozen cookies.
