Jumping in, "werewolf" may seem like a derogatory term, but in my canon, I think Snape would never call Remus (and by that, I mean directly addressing Remus and not referring to him in third form), whether as a derogatory form or endearment. Mostly because: a: when he's insulting, he does so in an underhand manner, that makes Remus wonder whether he's actually insulting, hinting a possibility of telling others, or saying he's nothing but an animal. b: as an endearment, huh. I just realized that in most of my stories, Snape's endearment is finally calling Lupin 'Remus'! O_O
