Wow. It' s different to read a Remus who isn't entirely honorable. Not that I mind much. Remus is sleeping with other women, catting around with Sirius (so to speak). That alone doesn't make him dishonorable, but it makes him very canon: caring so much about what Sirius thinks, sharing details of conquests with Sirius, not respecting the privacy of Snape. Sadly, I don't think Severus would be surprised to be betrayed if he ever found out. Severus's childhood just gets worse and worse, poor thing. It seems that your Remus and Severus are made for each other, both manipulating. Very sad, but fascinating to watch. I'm enjoying seeing how their broken edges fit together, and how far Severus will push himself past his abusive indoctrination to keep Lupin.
