I've discovered it's possible for me to change a designated author/artist at the website from the admin account. What does that mean?

After the fest is over, I can switch the author of this year's gifts from "Snupin Santa" to the author's pen name if they're registered at the site, so it will show up under their name and account, and they can edit it as they please.

If you're a participant in this year's Snupin Santa and you want your story/art switched to your account at the end of the fest, please register at the site!

If you've already registered at the site and your pen name isn't easily recognizable as being connected to the name you signed up with, please email me your pen name at the site at snupin_santa @ yahoo.com. DO NOT leave it in the comments here, because I'll never remember to come back and look in January.

If you're a participant and registered at the site, and your pen name is easily recognizable, you don't need to do anything; I'll switch the gift from "Snupin Santa" to your name at the end of the fest.

This way, if you found some typos, you want to edit the header info, or you want to tweak the story/art once the fest is over, you'll be able to do so to the copy on the site because the story/art will revert to your editorial control.

I'm posting this from my account rather than the snupin_santa account because I can't create polls with that one.

The holidays are a busy time in general, and there are several fests going on this month, so I wanted to get a sense of whether or not people wanted some time after the fest to catch up on reading the stories and viewing the art while everything is still anonymous in January. And so, a poll!

Summary: An exploration of how events might have unfolded if Remus had been Sorted into Slytherin, told in a series of vignettes.
Warning: character death (not RL or SS)
Word count: ~4000
Notes: Based on the following prompt: I'd love to see a short fic, or a set of short vignettes or scenes (think: a bunch of drabbles or double drabbles strung together) set in the MWPP era, but with a twist: Remus was sorted into Slytherin and is close friends with Severus. Slytherin is NOT necessarily or exclusively the house of evil Death Eaters, and Gryffindor is NOT the house of big dumb meanies (I relate to both houses a lot, and like to see them treated in a three dimensional way, not a stereotypical or one or two d. one).

I set myself the challenge of keeping each scene between 200-300 words long while still reflecting the altered history.
