Kids do say--and do--the darnedest things! Telling the story from Teddy's point-of-view was a great way to keep the story flowing.
One thing: You posted the beta's notes as well. Harry's jaw clenched and he swung around(this makes me think he's turning away, for some reason)
Remus was in the kitchen; Snape wasn't there, so he was probably in the laboratory making potions. He did that for a living; Remus(I might call him dad or something here,since it's more Teddy's thoughts)
Still, he was worried that Papa and Uncle Harry might blow up the laboratory, so he waited in their (unclear antecedent)room watching the beeper, just in case. He stayed there until he heard footsteps outside, then he ran as fast as he could, floating down the stairs in one jump (he wondered how to measure the whole stairs) to save time.
Still, he didn't mind – much - not being able to metamorph or use magic, and Joey was a lot of fun. (I think the tense is off there)
