Yay, I'm so happy to see a new chapter! I like the little details, like Lupin having three white feet and "pretty" eyes. ;) And I feel such sympathy for Snape, with his tormented dreams about Dumbledore. It really bothers me that it's never mentioned in canon that Dumbledore left behind any evidence to clear Snape's name after his death, as if he didn't care about what would happen to him.
And that line, "So I would have to find someone truly ugly to care for me"--that just seems so in character for Snape, along with his immediate scorn for his own self-pity.
And the bit with girls wanting to pet Lupin at the end made me smile, especially Snape's thought about how he shouldn't have to "feel apologetic because you can't pet a werewolf". ^_^
