“Where is the bloody spoon?” Severus muttered, scraping up a morsel of rich creamy chocolate mousse with the edge of his fork.

“Mmm, there is no spoon,” Remus responded, scooping up a mouthful of dessert in his fingers and offering it to Severus with a raised eyebrow and a mischievous smile, his golden eyes glowing as they met Severus’s gaze, midnight dark, glittering with reflected light like captive stars.

“Banish all spoons,” Severus whispered throatily, licking the sweetness off the werewolf’s fingers and then slowly and smoothly drawing the fingers into his mouth, all the way to the first knuckle.
