At least that answered what kind of reality would make Lilah a general. "I wouldn't know, considering I wasn't there myself." Oh, she was well aware of that reality now, but she still didn't have true first hand account of it since she herself hadn't lived (or died) through it.
Cordelia wasn't all that fond of hearing about her own death, especially when it just reminded her of the fact she technically was still dead, albeit from different choices in life than a wish. "I never would have imagined a Watcher and Initiative merger, but desperate times do lead to strange bedfellows, but if it helps save the world and possibly stop using a bunch of teenage girls as human shields, I can't say I'd argue against it."
"More like respected bitter enemies," Cordelia shrugged, but was tempted to laugh at the lawyer comment. Oh, that was just too good. But she held on to her decorum, as she was Cordelia Chase, not one of the Summers girls. Still, a hint of a smile managed to fight its way forward. "But you get used to seeing familiar faces around here not matching the people you actually know or know of."
