"Well, this is intriguing..." These was her first words when she found herself suddenly not only out of her world, which was a computer-simulated realm known as "The Grid" but also she's not been derezzed, or as the users would call it, dead. Clu had double-crossed her boss Castor, though in someways, she knew it would come back to bite him since he betrayed Sam to Clu's forces. She wasn't happy she lived, but she didn't really have much range of emotion, though she didn't question it.

Still, this world felt different. Warmer, less artificial. It felt oddly real. She rubbed her finger along a random empty seat and she took a look at her fingertip. The substance on it felt oily. She narrowed her eyes to take in what she discovered before she curled a lovely smirk. She thought out loud to herself. "I am in the world of the users. How extraordinary."

She still was in her outfit she wore in the grid as a Siren Program, so as she gracefully walked over to a seat, the lights on her outfit would dim and brighten with each movement of her body. She sat down in a booth within this cafe and demurely crosses her legs in lady-like fashion. She outstretched one arm on the top of the seat as she stoically studies the realm she finds herself in.

It was a slow time in the cafe, slow enough that Tifa wasn't even tending bar. But she was trying to keep busy and help when she could, which was what sent her over to the new comer. She smiled politely, "Hi, welcome to the Lunatic Cafe. Can I help you with anything?" She didn't normally wait any tables, but it wasn't as though she didn't know how and since the cafe had such a laid back policy on who served where it wouldn't hurt for her to step in now and again.

She noticed the dark haired user...or woman approaching her. She seemed friendly enough and Gem figured if she was to be in the world of the users, she might as well use this as an opportunity to know her surroundings. She tapped her fingers slowly and lightly on top of the seat as she asked. "Thank you..." Her lips curled into a smirk. "...this cafe wouldn't happen to be apart of a larger region known as 'Earth' now wouldn't it?" She's heard the name a few times in passing, mainly from Sam's father, Kevin, the user who created her home.

"Not specifically Earth, though we do have ties to it." It was always interesting to have to explain just what the cafe was and where it was located. "We're actually in an inter-dimensional nexus. There are several out there, and we're in between dimensions, time, and space." It was a pretty generic explanation, but it was the one that every staff member of the cafe had to speak of at one point or another in the cafe's history. In fact, it was one of the things they had to memorize when they were hired. "My name's Tifa, one of the staff here in the cafe. I take it this is your first time in here?"

Well... She thought to herself as she smirked as she looked into the young woman's eyes. ...it would appear that I have traveled to a place that even users never traveled. She arched up her eyebrow. She's very fascinated by this place. "Interesting. My world also has ties to Earth. It's known as The Grid. It was created by users, or humans as I was told they call each other. I'm a siren, a type of program in the armory that preps other programs for The Games. My name is Gem."

"It's good to meet you, Gem." Tifa actually did enjoy meeting new people that found their way into the cafe. It was actually one of the main reasons she kept her job there. It was full of possibilities she simply wouldn't normally get back home. "I'm afraid I'm completely unfamiliar with what you call 'The Grid' though. But that's not exactly unusual around here." She looked at Gem with a curious expression. "What are 'The Games'?" Tifa had some ideas of what that could be but her curiosity wouldn't be sated until she got actual facts.

"The pleasure is mine." She then leaned back and closed her eyes as she was in thought. "The Grid, my home. It was a world created by users. From what I was told, it's a universe within a computer server. I'm from it's capital city known as Tron City, named after the program that liberated the first incarnation of The Grid from the MCP or Master Control Program. However, much like the MCP did to the Users, Clu betrayed the users and usurped Kevin Flynn, our creator's position. My boss for a time worked with the users until he betrayed them to Clu. A mistake that lead to us being betrayed ourselves by Clu. He set off light grenades just before I appeared here. This place saved me from being derezzed. And you can think of The Games as 'Trial-By-Combat.' Both the MCP and Clu used those to weed-out the guilty and the weak. My job as a siren is to arm the combatants."

She then reached behind and pulled out her Identity Disc from behind her back and placed it on the table. It showed a holographic image of Gem's head and the image slowly rotated. "This disc is used in one of the weapons used in The Games."
