"Unless you were expecting someone else..," he started in a joking tone, just teasing her about how she was surprised to see him and said his name like it might not be him. Who else would come up to her with his face and ask if the seat was taken? Sure, he told Ethan about her, but it wasn't like he assumed his twin would go looking to meet Lana. He was supposed to be dead, after all. He was pretty sure he was the only one who knew Ethan was even alive, with the way he had to tell him and all.
"I just sort of showed up here, I was leaving my hotel and about to head to yours and.. here I am," he explained to fill in the blanks on how he got here. Not that it really filled in very many blanks because he didn't actually know how he ended up here. One minute he was walking out of his hotel and the next, in a cafe. And definitely not a cafe near his hotel, either. He had questions, sure, but he didn't really have the desire to voice them. Why? Because he found Lana after all and it wasn't like he had anywhere important to be. Maybe this place was off the grid and he wouldn't have to worry about the government playing that possibly (most likely) listening in on his conversations bullshit without taking the battery out of his phone.
