Setzer would have felt bad if he made Larsa drop his food. First off, fried dough was amazing and shouldn't be wasted in such a manner. Second off, it was just rude. Little bumps were bound to happen with the influx of all the tourists for the holiday, but still, Setzer didn't want to add to any potential problems. Though, seeing that fried dough Larsa had made him want to get some of his own. He simply didn't eat like this often and wanted to take full advantage of everything there was to offer.
And such proper diction from someone so young, too! Setzer had never been so formal in his entire life, and everything about him said just that. His clothes were hand-me-downs of the well-loved variety, not quite matching the current style, and not that he cared, either. "You've never carved a pumpkin at all?" And the last time Setzer himself had, Davie had still been alive, but that was neither here nor there. "These ones, well, a lot of them look like a professional did 'em. But you can still get some to take home and practice if you wanted. There's gotta be a vendor who's selling them around here, everything's all about the pumpkin this time of year."
It took a moment for Setzer to place exactly what the kid was talking about. His Instagram photo from a few days back, when he'd been playing around on his phone and found a shot he liked. "Yeah, that's probably me. Unless someone else posted a decent selfie in the last few days." He held out a hand to him. "Setzer Gabbiani. Nice to meet you in person."
