[14 Feb 2011|07:21am] ♥ scenario game & news! Happy Valentine's Day! Some info for you for this week: The next senshi/knight awakening will take place February 21st - that's a week from today! Keep in mind that the window for Logs/entries/commenting for that awakening opened on Saturday and will close the night before the awakening. That means that logs that were started after Friday February 4th will count. Like the last Senshi awakening, we'll be posting a couple of nights before hand to do the log/entry count, to announce who will be awakening this time, and to do the activity check. Thanks to several of you, the Kudo Box has been a success, and we have our first kudo points to give away today! The winning log from last week is the Sailor Mars awakening log! That means that Lacy, Lawrence, and Smitty each get .25 points added to their battle score (if you don't know what that is, check out the update on the FAQ). Noah just gets cool points, since he has no powers - stay cool, Noah! There were several logs and threads nominated, all of which have been tagged with a special denotation by the mods. You can have a look here: *hall of fame (later. It will soon be ready). You also may have noticed that we have created an NPC journal for the game. Feel free to assume what you will about most of the characters that might come out of it, including who might know them, who might have them friended, etc. Also please run the friend's button if you haven't already! [14 Feb 2011|09:19am] Greetings fellow players. I'm Jess, the new newb person thinger. I'm nervous because I get the Joining a New Game Jitters, but I'm super excited to be here. I went from 'OH GOSH.. I REALLY WANT TO JOIN THIS GAME, BUT I HAVEN'T REALLY PLAYED A FANDOM-ISH TYPE GAME IN FOREVER.' to 'MAN.. I REALLY WANT TO JOIN THIS GAME.. IT LOOKS SO GOOD...' to 'OKAY FUCK IT.. I'M JOINING THIS DAMN GAME. FML.' Aaand... as you guys can see.. I have a tendency to ramble, so I'm going to kick myself now so that I can get on with this introduction. This here is Josephine Belmonte. 25 year old librarian, some time flower lady at Willow and Bloom and also a part time sophomore at SCC. She has a mother, a step-father, a father, another father (her father's life partner), a sister that's a year older than her and a baby brother that's only two years old. Pretty confusing, huh? Mom and Pop stayed together until Josephine was about 16, but thanks to Clementine (older sister) coming out of the closet, Pops finally got the courage to do the same and Josey's parents got a divorce. She's a smart lady, that Josephine and actually had a scholarship to SPU, but only got to enjoy a year there before she dropped out. Mom got sick (leukemia sick) and so Josephine decided to stop going to school to take care of mommy dearest. She picked up a job as a waitress and at the library during that time to help pay for the bills. And... yeah. Her tl;dr bio is here. Personality wise.. it's takes a lot to actually know Josephine because she's a Stubborn Sally that doesn't trust easily, but she's polite enough and can be friendly, if a bit standoffish. She doesn't like making eye contact when talking to strangers because it makes her feel uncomfortable and not because she wants to be rude. In fact, she really, really tries not to be rude and will even be polite when she's confronting someone about something that's bothering her. Um.. yeah.. Oh noes! A Wild Busker Appears! [14 Feb 2011|08:48pm] Hey there everyone! My name's Liz, I'll be playing the resident homeless heartbroken fat girl singing on the streets for pocket change. I've just been accepted (in case the fact that no one knows me isn't an indicator) and I really look forward to playing along with this great RP. I'll be playing Adrianna Fuller, a 20 year old former big fish from the small pond of DuBois, PA. Formerly hopelessly optimistic, now quickly learning that life isn't all sunshine and lollipops as she plays ukulele on street corners to pay for a bite to eat. Once first seen this one will seem pretty happy but once she's not trying to make a dime she's a bit withdrawn.
