Noah knew Luke was the bravest person he'd ever met, but he was in awe of him during the confrontation with the drunken frat guys in the Beamer. Luke was actually quite the fighter. He was rough and hard and fought those guys with something he’d never seen in him before. Noah had to assume that growing up on the farm, shoveling hay, mucking out stalls and training horses and the other Snyder men had prepared him. He was definitely no shrinking violet. Not that he thought that ever, but he never realized how tough Luke really was. Noah on the other hand felt so silly and useless not being able to fight for and with Luke. He couldn’t believe that he got hit over the head and put out of commission by such assholes. He wanted to be able to always protect his boyfriend …and Ameera, but that just didn’t happen that day.
After he felt better, recovered from his concussion, he was going to learn some strategic fighting techniques. Because he never wanted to leave Luke without backup again!
