Very much a WIP, Just to the shut the damn plotbunny up for five minuets.
A scene from a Sentinel/Resident Evil crossover. Billy Coen is caught by Wesker, and since he’s smart and was watching Billy most if not all the way though the events in RE: Zero, he’s twigged that he’s a sentinel, and so he then kidnaps Blair Sandburg because he’s the expert on Sentinels. Like I said, it’s a rough WIP of the scene, but I’m pretty happy with this.
The Doctor slammed the door closed behind her, the sleeve of her white coat stained red, she quickly walked over to the bed and undone all the restraints.
“Wake him up.” She ordered.
“Believe me lady I’ve been trying.” Blair said.
The doctor pulled a gun out aiming it at Blair.
“Whoa Doctor, just calm down…”
Blair trailed off when he saw Coen’s eyes snap open.
The gun toting doctor however soon has his attention again.
“Calm down? Calm down! We are all going to die unless we get him awake.” She shouted. “He survived once, even with that brat slowing him down. He can get us out; he has to get us out. I don’t want to die.”
“No one has to die.” Blair said holding his hands up and stepping towards the doctor. “Maybe if you told me what’s going on.”
“It’s out that’s what’s going on.” The Doctor shrieked. “It’s out and we are all going to die down here if we don’t – ”
Coen’s hand shot out and took hold of the doctor’s wrist, pointing the gun down as he sat up.
The doctor gasped, Blair wasn’t sure if it was pain from the prisoner grabbing her hurt arm, or relief at the sentinel waking up.
Coen took a deep breath looking though the Doctor.
“It’s you.” He said his voice rough from lack of use.
“Wha-what’s me.”
Coen’s gaze drifted down to the bloody coat sleeve that he was holding, but Blair could see that his eyes still hadn’t quiet focused.
Coen let go of her arm, a look of disgust on his face at the blood on his hand, but the disgust was already fading to pity.
“It’s in you.”
The doctor’s face turned grey, but before she could open her mouth Coen twisted her around and snapped her neck. Smearing her own blood over her throat and chin.
Blair stared opened mouth at the doctor’s body as she fell lifelessly to the ground. He throat when dry when Coen’s dark eyes turned towards him
*****Evil chapter break XD*****
Blair back peddled away from the sentinel as he staggered forward. He stopped at the sink that Blair had been standing in front off. Coen started scrubbing his hands.
“Get it off.” He was muttering under his breath. “Get it off me, can’t let it in.”
Blair looked from the doctor’s body back to Coen.
“What is it?” He asked quietly.
“Virus.” Coen answered. “I can smell it, can’t let it in.”
“A Virus?” Noticing the state of Coen’s hands, Blair took a deep breath before taking the risk of placing his hands over the sentinel’s to still them. “The blood’s gone.”
“It’s still there.” Coen’s hands were shaking, he shook his head and closed his eyes. “I can still smell it.”
“No. The blood’s off your hands, if you scrub much harder you’ll rub your skin raw and then you will get infected.” Blair said, slowly taking the brush Coen had been using to wash his hands away. “You can smell the blood of the woman you killed.”
“I didn’t want to kill her.”
“I know.”
“You don’t know me.”
“I know you’re a Sentinel.” Blair said. “I know that you’ve made no move to hurt me.”
“W-what’s a…nevermind.” Blair could see that Coen had pulled himself out of the strange half-primal state he had been in. “Where are we?”
“I’ve got no idea where we are.” Blair admitted. “I do know what a Sentinel is though.”
Coen walked over to the door trying the handle only to find it locked. He frowned at the door a moment and cocked his head to one side. “I think we’re safer in here for now.”
“What do you mean?”
Coen frowned at Blair. “Can’t you hear the screams?”
“The room is meant to be sound proof…did you say screams?”
Coen flinched and tried the door again thumping it with the side of his fist. “You can’t hear that?!”
“No. I’m not a sentinel.”
Coen stalked over to Blair and grabbed him by his shirt.
“Fine; What’s a Sentinel? Another kind of Tyrant? What kind of sick experiments have you people been running on me?!”
“W-wait…” Coen shook him like a rag doll. “Let me go and I’ll tell you.”
Coen shoved Blair back against the sink and took a step back. “Start talking.”
“Oh man where to I start. Okay okay.” Blair waved a hand at Coen when he looked ready to grab him again. “I was kidnapped by whoever these people are because I’ve been researching Sentinels, and whatever you’re thinking Sentinels aren’t made they’re born.”
“So you don’t work for Umbrella?”
“The drug company? Hardly my mom and I held anti-animal testing protest against them before I went to university.”
Coen snorted at ‘animal testing’ but other wise made no comment.
“So, Sentinels.” Blair said trying to keep this short. “They’re people born with enhanced senses, and a strong instinct to protect the tribe. That’s why you killed that woman, you could smell that virus and…for some reason instinct tells you that it’s a big enough threat to kill anyone who carries it.”
“I’d eat a bullet if I was infected.” Coen said shortly. “Why should I trust you? You could be lying.”
“Then listen to my heart, it might be going a bit faster than it should since you’ve just killed a woman in front of me and you keep going on about screams and a virus and eating bullets, but if I’m lying when I say that you’re a sentinel and not some kind of experiment then it would get even faster.”
Coen snorted again. “As if being able to hear someone’s heartbeat is normal.”
But the man must have accepted Blair’s explanation because he walked way from the door and knelt by the dead doctor. Taking her gun and looking though her pockets.
Coen looked up suddenly sensing Blair’s disapproving gaze.
“She was infected; she was going to kill us. Or would you rather end up as long pig.” Coen pulled out a key, an ID card and another clip of bullets.
“Long pig? What’s cannibalism got to do with any of this?”
“If we can get the hell out of dodge before this shit really hit’s the fan you won’t have to find out.”
“What’s your name anyway?”
“Blair Sandburg.” Blair answered. “The people here were calling you Coen.”
Coen was quiet for a long time, before sighing and meeting his eyes. “Billy.”
