"Yeah, I guess you're right," Izzy commented thoughtfully to Connor, about putting away. But we don't just stop being who we were before we came here do we? Just...adjust it."
She glanced over at Whistler and shook her head. "I've no clue about the date, but I think my arrival here is supposed to be a thank-you for services rendered to the powers. When we had the white light and everything? I had to do a ritual to try and figure it out a few weeks ago." It was funny, she'd gotten her family, but it was far from ideal.
Maybe that was the whole point.
"I'll take Key West weather over Chicago any day of the week and twice on Sundays!" The witch shivered. "Too far north for this southern gal."
The unfamiliar voice caused Izzy's head to swivel in the direction of the door, but it wasn't her house so she waited for Rhiannon or Connor to usher in whoever the new arrival was.
She turned her attention back to Whistler, putting on a hurt expression to yank his chain a little. "What do you mean you don't like my beer?"
