Megan's eyes shot open as she found herself staring into the sunny sky above. She paused for a moment as her eyes carefully darted around, her eyebrows furrowing together. This wasn't right. She'd taken a moment to look up at the sky to try and figure out if it was going to rain or not, when she went from looking at gray sky to a bright blue sky. She knew that weather was apt to change quickly, but not that quickly. There was something else wrong. She wasn't in the woods either. She was standing at the Hogsmeade train station.
"Um..." she said aloud trying to figure out how she managed to apperate herself here without trying. She hadn't even been thinking about Hogsmeade. She was worrying if they needed to delay the expedition into the Black Forest another day or not. Megan placed her hands on her hips and transferred her weight to one leg. Well, this wouldn't do. She closed her eyes and concentrated on base camp, but found she was unable to apperate back.
Megan tried a few more times before giving up. Well, looks like she'd be walking for a bit. Normally she wouldn't have minded so much, except that she was wearing her hiking backpack on her back. Not to mention she felt like she looked totally out of place with her black dragon skinned hiking boots, denim shorts, black tank top and her old beat up brown bandanna keeping her braided pigtails out of her face. She spotted someone up the way and she half-jogged up to them.
"Excuse me." she said putting on a friendly smile, just hoping it would be enough to make them think she was a complete loon. "Did they put anit-apperation charms up on the village or something? Because I can't seem to get out of here." she said trying to make it sound normal, rather than a severe lack of magical talent. "See, I was on the outskirts of the Black Forest and I think I somehow accidentally got myself here." she explained, once again trying to sound somewhat normal.
