Date: 16 July 2010, evening Characters: Aine Troy and open Location: The Three Broomsticks Private/Public: Public Rating: Lowish? TBD, will change as necessary. Summary: Aine's working the last of her double shift. Completion: In progress
Aine looked at the somewhat dusty clock on the wall again for the millionth time that evening. It hadn't been necessarily bad or busy or anything. Just long. And being on her feet for the last several hours Aine was honestly ready to go back to her and Keelin's room and relax for a while. Or at least get off of her feet for a moment. From where she stood next to the bar she was looking around the room. All but one of her tables had gone now, and she was patiently waiting for them to be done. Naturally, if she was ever annoyed, or impatient, Aine never showed that face in public. Ever. She'd seen too many friends of hers, professional players, have a small melt down in public and it would be all over the front pages of Quidditch Weekly.
Granted, she was sure that it wasn't likely to happen that way here. Heck, half the people here didn't even recognize her and actually, she was thankful for it. Those who did, well, she was flattered and handled it the way she always did. She just was a normal person and so on and so forth. She set down the heavy empty try she was holding and then let down her long red hair from where it had been captive the last several hours by a nearly broken hair tie. She shook it loose and messed up the roots a bit with her hands, feeling a little more freedom already. Or at least a little more relaxed.
To tell the truth she really didn't have much to be stressed over. The only real "bad" thing that's happened to her was getting pulled her. She hadn't be on the receiving end of any of the hate mail, and all that weird stuff going on with people's wands or whatever it was, it wasn't happening to her. She wasn't alone here, she had a few friends, and "extended" family as it were, not to mention her best friend and teammate Keelin was her with her. Not only just here, but rooming with Aine. And that meant a heck of a lot to her.
Putting on a friendly smile Aine walked over to her remaining table and looked over at them.
"Is there anything else I can get for yah?" she asked in a nice but firm way. She was ready to get out of here, but she wasn't about to let her quality of service slip because of it.
