The last week or so Emme's head had felt like it was going to explode. Everything that Cosette had told her was still weighing heavily on her mind. How could it not? Sirius the murder? It didn't make much sense to her. But, unfortunately things not making sense had become a rather large theme in her life since getting sucked in here. At least she had been able to get a little sleep. Well, more than she would have, had she been at home. Once again, it wasn't that comforting to think about.
As she made her way the few feet down the hallway to Sirius room she wasn't sure how to react. When she first saw his handwriting, she'd been worried for, if anything else, his mental stability. As the days progressed, no matter how pissed off she was at him, she found that she was still worried about him. That's how she knew she couldn't say "no" to his request to meet. Not that she was going to say "no" anyway. Emmeline wasn't the type of person to just sit by and let others make up her mind for her. No. Emmeline was going to decide it for herself. And if the worst came to worst, she could at least know that she made up her own mind, and could be held accountable for her decisions.
She knocked politely a habit she had picked up over the years, if anything else for her one desire to never see Sirius naked again. He had to know she was coming, so she walked right in and shut the door behind her. She didn't walk far into the room but stood there and crossed her arms over her chest. She honestly wanted to be sort of hesitant, but it wasn't going to last long. She pulled a red lollipop out of her pocket that she had brought with her. A peace offering of sorts for all the bad things she had thought in her mind over the last few days.
"Got you a present." she said a small half smile on her face as she held it out to him.
