The last two days had been nothing short of a nightmare, and it didn't help that she had been locked in that stupid little room for the last 48 hours. Apparently "Don't leave the building" hadn't been a challenge after all. Once she was escorted back to her room she found that she was unable to leave. Not even using her genetics that she, rarely used for this kind of thing, seemed to get her anywhere but a date offer. She would have been considerably calmer about it, and tried to work on the spells keeping her at bay, but unfortunately she found herself wandless. And not to mention by the time the spells had worn off a day later, it was dark outside, and frankly she was a little too freaked out by the whole situation to leave the building by herself at night.
There was one place she really wanted to be at that moment, and last night, she wasn't about to ask Victoire for an escort over to Murphy's. For a number of reasons. It seemed that all the work that they had done over the last several years appeared to be all for nothing at the moment, as Victoire was only a year removed from breaking up with Murphy's brother, Connor. And while Dominique fully understood the power of being Connor's ex, she couldn't help but feel a little defeated over the whole matter.
She'd spent a little time with her sister since arriving and being let out of her room, and it really was a comfort to be around family. However, now being the oldest sister, Dominique couldn't find herself relaxing the way she normally did. So. That morning when she got up, she decided that she just needed to get away from it all. As the robes she had been given didn't exaclty fit, she had to put on the jeans she had arrived in along with the red and white pok-a-dot top and as much as her feet were going to hate her, the heels as well, as quickly as she could and left. She needed to be the one place she'd been dying to get to since she arrived. As she hit the streets of Hogsmeade she picked up a cup of coffee and headed over to the Hogs Head. She walked up to Murphy's door and knocked lightly before turning the knob, it was unlocked, and she let herself in.
"Morning." she said cheerfully as she set the coffee down on a nearby table, and went right over to where her boyfriend was and wrapped her arms around his waist and hugged him tightly. She had to make sure he was real, and not some weird hallucination she seemed to be having at the moment. She looked up at him, a soft smile on her lips as she just stood there and breathed him in for a moment. Murphy's familiar scent seemed to be enough that he was real and she could just feel her body relax a little bit.
"First of all, I love you." she started. "Secondly," she leaned in and kissed him gently for a moment before pulling away, but not too far. "How's the head?" she asked after a moment. She figured as drunk as he was when he arrived, he probalby spent a lot of yesterday paying for it. Maybe, sometimes she couldn't quite tell or not, hence why she had gotten him the coffee.
