When Jacelyn had arrived she'd be the first to admit she followed instructions to the letter just for the plain and simple fact that she was completely scared out of her mind. After the initial shock of being sucked into the future, sort of wore off her mind started to spin again she decided it was time to go out explorning. Her mother was here. At first Jacelyn had tried to play it cool, maybe suck some information about her father out of her, but she could see that her maman wasn't budging. Like always. Of course it didn't really help that Jacelyn might as well be a stranger to her.
So she gave up on that plan for now, and decided to learn more about this place. She had never been here, and she knew that at least her mother had at one time, so maybe seeing this place would give them a connection, something to bond over, something to talk about, and if just so happen to provide a clue into her family's past then so be it. There was a part of her that was still very unsure about perusing this, but as the last 48 hour progressed she couldn't help but want to keep going. This could all be for nothing, but she'd never know if she didn't try right?
Besides, this place was very cute, and she found herself just wanting to absorb everything about this place. She was fascinated by the different descriptions she had heard from other people, and now it was her turn to get an impression in her mind. With the small amount of money she had in her purse she had made her way from the Hogsmeade Towers to a little place called Honeydukes and after an hour of just looking around, she bought a small amount of chocolate that she'd save for later. And after she asked nicely to the man behind the Honeyduke's counter for a suggestion for her next stop, she found herself at the Three Broomsticks enjoying a butterbeer.
The thought that she must have looked very odd drinking the beverage as she gazed around the room never occurred to her. After all, there were much worse things to worry about at the moment.
