Sirius was not amused by all of this. Out of everyone that he had known before, he had thought at Remus of all people would believe him. If not believe him, at least give him a chance to explain everything properly before passing judgment. He thought that Remus would understand.
Apparently he was wrong.
Sirius slipped out of his room at the Three Broomsticks. Silently, he wondered if Madame Rosmerta still owned the place. Shaking that random thought out of his head, he made his way down the hall, transforming into his black dog animagus form before he reached the end of it. That was what he'd become an Animagus for to begin with, wasn't it? To sneak out of places he wasn't supposed to sneak out from?
He made his way, slowly so he wouldn't get caught, out of the Three Broomsticks and into the streets of Hogsmeade. Everything was so different. There were buildings everywhere that weren't there before. New places he'd never even heard of. He trotted his doggy-self down the road until he saw the place called the Hogsmeade Towers. At least it wasn't hard to find. He roamed around until someone came out, and dashed in through the door just as it was closing. His tail got shut in the door, causing him to whimper a little with pain. Shaking it off quickly, he spotted Remus' room and sat down in front of the door, scratching on it with his paw.
