The girl was not about to give in any time soon if she had control over the situation. Well, as much as she could. The girl knew full-well that there was little she could do at times when he caught her off guard. His favorite method seemed to simply be with a kiss here and there. Except when that happened, she was usually very good at keeping her mind on the prize. And that prize was called not giving in. Tonight, she was too scared to think of how much she caved to have him come over. She wanted her lights on and the ghosts scared away. Really, that was as far as she had though about this. Now that he was over and going through her house, Kari suddenly realized what a silly thing this had been. She was glad he was in the kitchen as she sat on the couch, still wrapped in her blanket.
When he joined her with food, she looked up at him, glad it seemed he would be occupied- only to be immediately less glad that he was sitting on the couch with her. Well, so much for that. "Rosemary's Baby, Exorcist of Emily Rose and the Conjuring." She replied, shifting slightly to face him. "Really, I'm fine with horror movies until they are done. Then everything messes with my head."
