Luca and Cyn
She was very intrigued with him. Cynthia would have been a little embarrassed to know he could tell, too. She was not used to be so captivated by someone. Then again, she was always working so hard to keep people away from her that it was easier to be friendly when her identity was unknown-or so she thought. Still, she smiled at him and looked down at the table when he said she was worth having a conversation with. She was not used to the positive attention. Indeed, she only got attention from people she either did not like or from people who were anything but, well, friendly. This was a welcomed change of pace, and she looked back up at him. "I'll try to keep it so."
When he said he was on his way to be an EMT, that threw everyone she knew out the window, as far as she was concerned. That was the last job she saw entitled Luca taking up, after all. It would mean actual work. Like that would happen. "That's really cool," she told him. She had a gentle smile on her face-she meant it. It was not an easy job for people to do, and she was very impressed with this young man. He was so surprising to her and she was finding herself not wanting to leave him for quite some time.
When he asked her to dance, she arched an eyebrow. If there was one thing she liked to do, it was dance. She, of course, did not expect a professional dancer out of him. Considering Cyn spent most of her life taking a variety of dance classes, she was very forgiving of people with passable rhythm. Still, the woman smiled at the masked Luca. How could she turn him down? He was more or less her prince charming up until now. "I will never turn down a chance," she replied standing up and giving him her hand to be led onto the floor.
