Unlike Gale, Thalia missed her world. Sure, it was neat to be hanging out in a magical school, and sure, her world was at war where she was losing Hunters at an alarming rate, but it was her world, her war, and she was needed. The longer she stayed here, the antsier she was. At least Annabeth was here, and if Annabeth were here, she'd figure a way out. Annabeth was the smartest girl Thalia knew. She didn't even want to think about Luke's presence.
Instead she turned her thoughts to the guy who claimed he could use a bow but didn't actually have one. It wasn't a problem; she could make one for him. It was easy enough, and she'd done it tons of times. That was why she'd invited him to a meeting. She wanted to see what he could do.
"Hey," she said, jogging up to the tree. "You're Gale?"
