"I doubt it," Thalia said. She was in the middle of the room, doing a series of stretches. While she was much better about staying still than the usual demigod (seven years as a tree would do that to a person), she still had the usual ADHD that came with being a demigod. Just lying in bed didn't appeal to her.
She glanced up, studying her new roommate for a moment. She looked so sad, which Thalia could understand. She herself was annoyed and worried, but she could see how someone else who'd been ripped away from her life would be melancholy about it.
Thalia straightened and turned to the girl. "What did you leave behind?"
