The day was long and full of unexpected surprises. Not all of them bad, not all of them good either, but Silas had survived it for the most part and managed to find his way back to the room he'd been assigned to while only getting turned around a couple of times.
Who knew assessment tests could be so damn draining on a guy? He sure didn't. This whole 'school' thing was really not making a stellar impression on him and he couldn't say that he for one was turning into much of a fan of it as he shoved the door to room 202 open, didn't bother to close it and found the half made bed he'd woken up in once more to collapse upon it with a deep and tired groan as he just let the day beat him down finally with no further plans on his part to move again..At all, ever if he got his say in it.
"Why the hell does anybody do this shit?" He asked to no one in particular as he spoke into the pillow that cradled his scruffy face without protest and it briefly played through his mind that maybe he should kick off his shoes and pull off his brown leather jacket but both those things sounded like they required more energy than he felt he had at that moment. They could wait. Hell, it wasn't like he hadn't slept in them before after all.
